I am incredibly emphatic and have experience working with vulnerable children and young people, this requires so much care and patience. I have a calm nature and care deeply about supporting children. I love being outdoors and think it’s important for children to explore and play, play is so key in the work I do with children. Sensory integration is a key part of my skill set. Imagination is a fantastic quality in children and I am confident in fostering an environment where children can be imaginative through story telling, play and creativity! I am feel confident in prioritising routine and structure for children, as well as being organised within a household. I am a strong reader, and confident in my academic skill to support children with their learning and homework.
My Experience
I worked as a live-in Nanny for one year. Taking care of two boys (4) and (6), and one girl (9). This was in Sydney Australia. I have worked temporarily as a teaching/SEN assistant in a primary school for 5 months. I’ve worked 7+ years in therapeutic services with children and young people. This has included working with children and young people in foster care. My brother has two young children (2) and (5) so I have lots of experience taking care of them.
