About Me
We have a 14 month old son and currently live near Milton Keynes. We are moving to Upton, Chester in approx September for work. We are looking for part-time childcare for when we move. He will be 20 months when we move.
My son is fairly chilled baby, very inquisitive and loves people. He is not a fan of naps and tends to only manage about 40 minutes a day. He loves reading, building blocks, throwing balls and going really high on the swings. We sign Makaton with him, so he can communicate although he has only said a few words so far. He loves animals and has interacted with dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks and goats. His favourite part of the day is feeding the rabbits with me every morning.
My Requirements
I am looking for childcare for a few half days per week from September. I will be on maternity leave with my second due in July, but I would like my son to have some time to socialise whilst I go to baby classes.
For that reason, I am very flexible with days and times. I was thinking this might suit someone who has availability only during school hours or similar.
My son has allergies to milk and soya, so we'd prefer someone who has some experience with allergies. He doesn't have an EpiPen and thankfully hasn't experienced anaphylaxis. However, even touching something that contains milk/soya can cause swelling, hives, eczema and explosive tummy issues. He has antihistamines in case of problems.
I don't drive yet (although I'm working on it!) so we are looking for something within walking distance of Bache station.
