I am available for work maternity nursing and troubleshooting.I travel nationwide for work.
I am a qualified Maternity nurse and nanny with excellent references, up to date DBS and first aid.
As a mother myself I fully understand a parents need to find someone they can trust and feel confident with in the care of their children. I have an adult daughter and was a foster parent for seven years, caring for over twenty-five children ranging in ages from new born to sixteen. Children have always been a central part to my life and as the eldest of six children, the nurturing role has always been important to me.
I believe that all children need to be treated with equal concern, and that fun, consistency and a flexible routine are the secrets of happy children and parents.
I firmly believe that a parent knows their own child best and that my place is to help support them in bringing up their children, their way.

Fully qualified Maternity nurse with over thirty years working with children.
Trouble Shooting home visits or via Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime or phone
A day or night consultation during which the family is observed and then an action plan is formulated. Five follow up telephone calls. Action can be carried out by either the family or me.
Sleep
Working towards good sleep routine, day time naps, night waking, feeding, rocking to sleep. Co- sleeping
Feeding
Breast, bottle, mixed, bottle rejection, reflux, food rejection, weaning
Behaviour
Toddlers, tantrums, non -eating, general behaviour, potty training.

Welcome to parenthood
This is a package for first time parents offering a pre birth visit, three further days after your baby is born and a month of telephone support. This will cover birth; setting up the nursery, feeding, , general baby care, working towards good sleep routine and provides support and guidance during those first few weeks.

Nicky helped us through the night on a couple of occasions with our twin babies who weren't sleeping properly. She is very experienced and her advice was invaluable. Nicky has since done some babysitting for us.
