My name is Carla Scott,
I'm officially an Ofsted childminder
I live with my husband and two children ages 5 and 3 years. We moved to Chelsfield area two years ago previously from Petts Wood. Our home is 5 - minute walk from Chelsfield Station with many other transport links ie bus routes.
My eldest daughter attends the Highway Primary School, whilst my youngest attends Charterhouse pre-school.
We live extremely close to Green st Green and Warren Road school too.

I understand by my experience of being a nanny for over 12 years and now being a mother, how hard it is deciding who the best person would be to look after your little ones whilst your at work. In addition I understand the importance it is to find the right environment, family and where your children/child will learn, play and feel safe as well as giving the parent peace of mind.

My home is a safe, nurturing and child friendly environment. I have collected many ideas and resources throughout my childcare history for all ages, cultures and disabilities. I have a large playroom within my setting with many toys, games and craft, decorated to encourage and engage children's minds.
I have dedicated space for children to sleep, eat or even having quite time.

My home has a large back garden with plenty of space to play imaginary games as well as having a wendy house a toddler play house and Tower and slide.
Not forgetting to mention a wide range of outdoor toys to choose from to conduct some special activities for the children to do.

Even with a large out door space we live within minutes to a very popular park in Chesfield area.

I will be visiting local toddler groups which are regular each week this gives the children the opportunity to socialise with other children outside a home environment. I am also very lucky to live by many nature trails, parks and farms.

I follow the Early Years Foundation guidelines and provide activities following the 7 key stages of learning and development.
I am also keen to keep up on my own learning becoming a member of Pacey who provide many courses that I have already enrolled in .

Carla has been looking after my 3 children since April. Carla is kind and friendly and immediately put the children at ease. Her home really is a home from home with so many wonderful toys and a lovely big garden. The children get on so well with Carla's 2 daughters and cannot wait to go back each time. Carla does lots of crafts and outdoor activities with the children and they often have exciting outings out. Carla picks my eldest 2 children up from Chelsfield Primary School a few days a week. She is always really dependable and flexible. I would definitely recommend Carla she has made my return to work so stress free and my children very happy.

Carla is a very kind, calm and friendly lady. She is very creative and does lots of crafty exercises with the children. She is happy to take the children out and about where she creates special tasks for them to complete, ie shopping lists. My little boy loves going to Carla's house and playing with her gorgeous children, they have all made him feel very welcome. She has a lovely home, which is newly renovated and very clean. We are only leaving Carla because my child has been offered a nursery place. We will still use Carla on an ad hoc basis.
