About Me
I recently graduated from University where I studied Acting. I have a kind, sensitive and caring nature, I love to spread joy and I have a great appreciation for life. I really enjoy working with children, I find them both inspiring and uplifting; I learn as much from them as they do from me. I currently work at Brighton Met where I regularly interact with students with diverse needs, many of the students have become very open with me which I find extremely rewarding.
My Experience
My recent role at Brighton Metropolitan College has required me to work with young people in school and I have found that through my relaxed, warm approach I have nurtured a feeling of openness and trust with them. I am often asked by my extended family to babysit; I love spending time with children, especially when I have created a meaningful friendship with them. I have been told that I am calm, kind, sensible and highly intuitive when it comes to children’s needs. I have also worked as a babysitter outside of family as a result of recommendations. Last summer, I looked after a three and five year old for five hours per week, we had great fun in the garden making fairy houses and devising plays about them, followed by a relaxing story-time. I volunteered as a mediator in school, dealing with bullying situations, or arguments between friends. This taught me how to remain patient and pragmatic in emotional situations.

My Availability
My current role at Brighton Met is a fixed term contract until the end of March. From April, I am available on weekdays between 8:00am to 6pm.
