About Me
I am a full time Primary Teacher who is currently employed in Scotland and teach a Primary 5 class, which have varying ASN needs. I also have experience teaching throughout the range of ages in school from p1-p7. I am looking for some extra work during the evenings and weekends for babysitting.
My Experience
I have vast experience working with children from nursery to pre-teen ages as an educator currently working in Scotland. As a teacher who has worked with all year groups from P1-S1, I have experience with children with ASN and ASD and managing their needs in different settings. With the job, comes experience in basic first aid procedures, safeguarding and providing a safe and calm environment for children to thrive and learn.
Prior to teaching, I completed a 2 year Human Communication Qualification (DipHE) where I worked in nurseries and schools delivering Speech and Language Interventions to children and their caregivers.
During the summer holidays I volunteer at holiday camps in the local area, planning and facilitating activities for the children to do including arts and crafts, sports/games and swimming.
My Qualifications
Human Communication DipHE where I trained as a speech and language therapist at Strathclyde University.
Followed by a 4 year honours degree in Primary Education with Maths BA (Hons).
