About Me
Welcome to my page! I'm Asma - manager of Happy Hearts, an Ofsted registered childminding service catering for children aged 0-5+ years. As a mum of three little ones myself, I'm extremely passionate about children receiving the best possible care, tailored to suit their individual and human need, and nothing less. At Happy Hearts, I will ensure your child spends their days in a loving, nurturing and safe environment, as they would in their own home, whilst at the same time, equip them with skills that will allow them to thrive, ready for primary school and the wider world through a variety of fun and engaging methods.
Here are some pointers about myself and Happy Hearts:
- I'm a mum of three young ones myself
- I offer halal meals, before/after hours care, have access to a car that will be used to make trips, such as to the library, parks and the museum
- My setting includes an elaborate outdoor area for play and is close to a woodland area
- My setting is walking distance from multiple parks, ponds and large greenery areas
-I have been working with young children since 2006 in several professional roles
- I have over 6 years of experience in secondary teaching, with a QTS, PGCE and an undergraduate degree in English Literature
- I speak and understand Urdu, Gujarati and Portuguese
- I complete CPD sessions regularly so ensure my knowledge remains up to date and fresh, allowing for your child to receive the best care possible.

Asma has been looking after my daughter the last 4 months since I have returned to work. She has treated my LO with such love, care and affection. She walks into Asma’s nursery with open arms, smiles and waves goodbye to mummy each day. The bunch of children Asma is currently looking after are incredibly sweet, they’ve become such good friends to my LO. I haven’t come across another childminder who has attended to all of my LO’s needs compared to Asma. As the group of children is smaller than a mainstream nursery my LO gets lots of 1-1 time with Asma. Secondly Asma has been great following my LO’s nap schedule and even provides such nutritious meals and snacks. It makes me feel so happy knowing there are more fruit and veg in her diet! The cleanliness and hygiene is amazing too. The different types of play have encouraged new skills from my LO also, I am seeing such leaps and bounds in her development, she has learnt to be more vocal and even started walking there too! I couldn’t recommend Asma enough; she was the best decision for my LO.

Asma is such a kind and thoughtful childminder. She has a very clean and beautiful home well equipped to give any little one a fun-filled time. I was super impressed with how much variety in activity she engaged our little one with and how happy he was to be with her. He surely had more fun than he would have had in nursery. Asma also updates very frequently with pictures giving you the peace of mind you need to focus at work. My wife and I are really grateful and would surely have him back again!
