About Me
Hi, I'm Hayley, I am in my 40s and live with my husband my 2 children who are 14 and 10, and our 4 year old jackapoo dog. We live in Northwich and love to go out as a family and spend lots of time enjoying the outdoors, be it finding new walks with the dog, or exploring parks near by, or having fun at castles or Arley Gardens /the Shire Horse Centre.
My Experience
My daughter was born in 2010, and my son in 2015. I have worked in child care since 2002. (Over 20 years now!!)
I started off working with 3 months to 2 1/2 year olds in nursery. I also worked in an after school club where I provided activities for 4-14 year olds. I then became room leader of a pre-school, and continued to work with pre-school children for over 6 years.
I have experience with working with children with special educational needs, and completed a secondment with the NHS speech and language 0-5 years team.
I became a childminder in 2009, gaining experience in working with babies, starting from 5 months old and continued as a childminder until late 2017.
After a break away from full time childcare of 5 ish years, where I have kept my toe in the childcare water by working for a nanny agency providing childcare at wedding creches, I re registered in July 2023.
I completed a foundation degree in Early Childhood Studies in 2015. I am up to date with my 1st aid training and safeguarding training.
My Qualifications
GCSE's A-C=9
A levels=3
NVQ2&3 in childcare and education (extra NVQ in EYFS framework)
Makaton trained Levels 1-9
Foundation Degree: Early Childhood Studies
Pediatric 1st aid certificate (renewed 2024)
