About Me
Hello :) I’m Georgia, originally from Australia but I’ve been living in Edinburgh since late 2022. I have recently become a UK citizen (as of April 2024). I have a degree in psychology and hope to pursue a career in this field in the next couple years but for now am working casually at a bakery and enjoying travelling and exploring Scotland. I am warm, open-minded, and curious.
My Experience
I have been around young children my whole life :) I have four younger siblings who I’ve played a big role in raising, and have done babysitting for many families for over a decade. Also, I’ve been an au pair in the UK in the past. Very happy to provide references if needed :) I feel comfortable caring for children of any age - newborn and up. I love looking after children.
My Qualifications
Over 10 years of babysitting experience with many different children. In Australia I had a blue card (which gave me the legal right to work with children). Psychological understanding of child development from my degree.
My Availability
I’m mostly looking to help out with casual babysitting in the evenings, available from 5pm every day. My work availability changes weekly as I work casually in a hospitality job (4-5 shifts/week) but I usually have some free daytime hours too. Happy to discuss further, as needed :)
