My Experience
A maternity nurse and night nanny with over 15 years working with newborn, twins and toddlers. I work in the Uk and also travel internationally with the family.
My duties as a Night nanny and maternity nurse involve:
Support mum with breastfeeding
Establishing good sleep habits
General care of newborn ( nappy change, bathing, settling to sleep, feeding,
Identify any health concerns like allergies, tongue tie, reflux, illness , colic, intolerance
Clean, tidy and organise baby nursery
Washing and sterilise all baby bottles
Health and hygiene
Establishing a good sleep and feeding routine
Looking out postnatal depression and support mum who have postal depression
Travelled with family: packing baby clothes and all necessities, getting baby back into routine after travel
Settling baby in new environment
Troubleshooting
Dealing with immunisation
Caring for circumcised baby
Giving advice and support on any issues concerning the baby
