My Experience

? Part Time Nanny (October 2020-May 2022)
I started doing mothers' help for a family I taught dance for, the children at the time were 9,6 and 5. My hours with this family were part time during the week but also included weekends and overnights where I cleaned, fed and watched after the children, got them to and from school, to and from activities as well as putting them to bed at reasonable times as well as doing light housework.

? Babysitting (January 2015-Present Day)
I started babysitting at the age of 14, generally looking after children from babies to primary school age (1-13). This included weekend, afternoon, evenings and once I turned 16 it became occasional overnight shifts (proxy parenting) where I would clean, feed and watch after the children as well as putting them to bed at reasonable times. I would tend to do light housework if there was any that needed done.

? Junior Nanny (June 2022-Present day)
I’ve spent the past year in london as a Junior Nanny to which i picked up a lot of different skills and tricks to working with kids and to better myself in my area of work, tasks included cooking, washing clothes, organising bedrooms, arranging after school activities and keeping children entertained in my hours of care.

? Jstep: Just Imagine Performing Arts. {From February 2018 to June 2022}
I worked as a dance teacher and a teacher assistant at my local dance school: Just Imagine Performing Arts since I was 15, my job here includes creating lesson plans, creating dances for the right age group, warming up the class, teaching proper technique in different classes depending on their style of dance. I taught between the ages of 3-16. During my time as a dance teacher it gave me the opportunity to be able to learn and bring focus of a group of children and being able to remain the centre of attention in a large group.

? Work Placement. {From February 2019 to October 2019} Work Experience. {From June 12th-15th 2018}
I completed my year long work placement as a teachers assistant at St Agatha’s Primary School in year 1’s to year 3’s as well as completing a week of year 10 work placement for a week at the same school, both jobs required setting up classrooms, cleaning up after activities, reading and working in different groups with different children.

? Educational Support Officer/ SEN Teaching. {February 2019 to March 2020}
During my year 11 schooling year I took on an extra course of study to learn how to teach and help children with different learning difficulties such as autism, adhd, handicapped children as well as those who have come to Australia and are doing EAL (English As a second Language). During my time I was able to work alongside many different children from ages 4-11. This allowed me the chance to work closely in a ratio of 1:1 monitoring or a 1:2 with me having two children in a small group to work on skills such as reading, writing and maths.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.50 per hour
• Nannying from £15.50 per hour (net)
