About Me
Leanne's little Learners Opening September 2023 for all childminding needs. I am OFSTED registered and have a custom built learning lodge in the garden, full of beautiful resources to enhance learning for all children. My home is situated overlooking the River Mersey and next to Portsunlight River Park, so lots of beautiful exploring in nature together is planned. I am a lover of children's literature and will provide a language rich, nurturing environment for your child to grow in my care. I also adore arts and crafts and love helping children express their creativity. I am a mum to 4 beautiful children aged between 13-19 and will provide a home from home environment for my little learners.
My Experience
I have worked in early years for 6 years in an outstanding preschool. During my time there i have worked with SEN children, on a 1:1 level to support and help them access the curriculum by adapting activities to meet the varied needs of the children in my care. I have delivered speech and language interventions and also trained in autism awareness and down syndrome awareness. I have have experience in makaton communication. When i was not working as a 1:1 I worked as a key worker for 9 children in the preschool, i assisted the teacher in delivering daily phonics and maths sessions, so have lots of exciting ideas to bring literacy and number into early play. I am level 3 trained and have full paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding certificates. Before my time in Preschool i was lucky enough to be a stay at home mum for 8 Years I treasured this time and found my love for child development. There is nothing more magical than being part of a child's development and watching them explore and begin to understand the world around them.
