About Me
My name is Medina Fofana. I am an Ofsted registered childminder and a mother to a beautiful two year old girl.
As a registered childcare provider in Croydon CR0. I provide loving, fun, caring and safe space for kids to excel in their learning and development (social, physical, emotional and intellectual).
Through play and activities catered to their ability and age, I encourage children's learning and growth while helping them to explore their environment and build new social skills. I combine this with regular trips to the park, the neighbourhood soft play, toddler gatherings, visits to farm, engagement with other childminders or trips to libraries. The kids like playing with a variety of toys, cooking, dressing up, puzzles, games or just running around in the park having fun and enjoying themselves.
Using individual folders for each child, I make notes on observations and track children's progress in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. I collaborate with parents to fulfil each child's specific requirements.
I offer full or part time day and evening care, Saturday care, School drop off and pick ups.
Parents are welcome to packed lunch and snacks if they prefer but I provide healthy snacks and homecooked meals.
I have a public liability insurance, paediatric first aid certificate and I am a non smoker and my home is pet free.
My Experience
I have over 10 years experience working with children with ages ranging new born to 16 years old as a baby sitter, personal tutor, Childminder assistant and my experience as mother.
My Qualifications
Will be be graduating this year with MSc in Construction Project Management, I have Bachelor Degree in Purchasing & Supply Chain management, Diploma in Business studies, Paediatric first aid, safeguarding training, CRB checked, Ofsted recognised introductory training course, Recording Children's development training, understanding Children's behaviour, food hygiene.
My Availability
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6pm
Evenings and weekends - As per agreement with parents.
I am open to discuss individual requirement arrangements.
I have availability for full or part time.
Funded hours spaces available.

My son has been with Miss Medina since March and she has been amazing ever since. Very kind and attentive, very accommodating. My son enjoys his time over, Miss Medina really dedicates herself to looking after children and it shows in my son attitude and behaviour

We were looking urgently in November due to our previous arrangement falling through. Medina came through and the kids absolutely adore her. They settled in well and love going to her. She's professional and detail oriented, keeping us up to date with what the children are getting up to. Couldn't ask for better care to be honest, she's been absolutely amazing and I'm so glad we found her.

Medina is a fantastic child minder and babysitter. She is very engaging! My little ones loves it there, they always look forward to their trips to the parks, libraries, dress up role plays, and educational activities. Medina is incredibly caring, attentive and trustworthy and she provides a safe and nurturing environment for my children. She started looking after my 9year old from the age of 8months old and my 4years old from the age of 1years. Medina is highly recommended.

Medina has looked after my 3year old since she was little, I like the detailed observation reports I get when my daughter is in her care. Her passion to care for children is evident I would recommend her services 💯.
