Hello! We’ll be new to the Reading area within the next couple of months ??

I’m seeking a childminder who has availability for 3-4 days of the week.

My Daughter is 2.5years old. She’ll turn 3 at the end of August. She’s an absolute firecracker and the most loving little soul ever! Proud mummy right here.

She’s extremely shy, however, out of her comfort zone and takes a while to warm to people (as do I in all honesty ?). I think society expects kids to be X, Y & Z rather than allowing them to just ‘be’ & develop how they need to.

She can be sensitive to noise at times (she won’t always say on the spot) but will tell me when she arrives home from nursery that it was ‘too loud today’.

She’s also sensitive to Tone. She loves cuddles and thrives off praise, acknowledgement and a happy face. She’ll certainly tell you if you’re not looking too happy ? (Difficult at times when you have a resting b*tch face…always need to reassure her that: ‘Mammy’s happy’ lol).

Anyway…RG1 or Twyford is where I’ll hopefully be setting up ‘home’ and hope for the foreseeable long-term future.

I’m a nurse (hopefully also successful with a new role in Reading ??). I’m hoping to work only day shifts but the hours may be slightly different to the non-shift worker & may incorporate an early start. This is hopefully negotiable through work though.

We ADORE anything that’s fluffy/furry, isn’t a human, isn’t an alien but something that’s cute and called an: Animal! YES to animals always ??.

There’s HEAPS of change happening for the both of us right now, so a really lovely, kind, patient and loving childminder would be much appreciated. I’ve recently separated from her Dad, new home soon on the horizon, a new school/childminder, a new area, new faces & a potential new job for me. Thus meaning I’d also be grateful for a cuddle every now and again too ?.

Hoping to find that ‘person’ who fits and can love & care for my little girl as much as I do. She’s extremely cute! Biased all the way.

She’s known her Alphabet from 19 months old, knows all the words to the nursery rhymes (not sure how I don’t and she does, anyway)…she can count to 20 in English and 10 in Welsh but will quickly tell you to ‘speak properly’ if I speak to her or read to her in Welsh ?. She’s a great dancer, loves books, loves anything that makes my home look like a drunk Artists house and would definitely be in for Gold championship swimming the way she literally dives straight in to anything that resembles: ‘water’. Messy play is a good day!

Manners & kindness are important to me, therefore I expect her to follow suit and someone who can also instil these in her day to day life.
