I am an experienced Early Years Teacher who leads Nursery and Reception in an outstanding school. I enjoy being around children, understand child development and seek to keep my knowledge updated. I am currently studying for a higher qualification in education.
I have my own children as well as grandchildren. I am a friendly, approachable person who will seek to work around you and your family.
My Experience
I have many years of experience working with children in a range of year groups. I have experience working with additional needs and children with English as an additional language.
I have a clear DBS check and have an up to date level 2 safeguarding qualification. I also have a paediatric first aid qualification.
My vaccinations are up to date.
I am able to supply tutoring and babysitting references from my current families if needed.

My Availability
I can offer to tutoring at weekends and/ or during the week from 5pm. I work with children of all ages for catch up, gifted and talented or preparation for tests.
I also offer a babysitting service in the evenings for all ages.

She has been tutoring my 6 year old daughter for a little while now and she has grown so much confidence around her school work. Jemima manages the time incredibly well, covering many areas of subjects with games and activities that keep my (usually distracted) child enticed. Honestly, I'm so glad I found her and couldn't think of using anyone else. She has a wealth of experience and is always happy to report on their progress.

We have used jemima many times now, and we wouldn’t use anybody else. She’s trustworthy, reliable, friendly, prompt and amazing with our children. We have four children a variety of ages and one with autism and ADHD who have all bonded and feel safe with jemima. She goes above and beyond for us, nothing is ever to much trouble. We would highly recommend this amazing lady!
