About Me
I am littlechicks childminding in Rednal located 400 meters from Bournville College. I have been looking after children for over 20 years now in a variety of settings which has given me a great deal of experience with children and family's.
I have two wonderful boys and have worked hard to make our home and garden a safe friendly fun environment for my boys and the children that I look after.
I have been a Registered childminder Since 2009 and I am also acreddited. I provode a warm familly fun environment with a wide range of educatioal and fun activities for all ages to enjoy.
I am fully qualified with NVQ 2,3,4 NNEB and Foundation Degree also regularly update training for childminding. Follow EYFS and this can be seen in my planning, observations and the development of each child I look after.
My Experience
I have been working with children since I was sixteen from work experience when at school in a school to working in my local crech. Then while at college I worked as a nanny. Once qualified I worked in a nursery then a children's home as a team leader.
Once I had my first child I decided to become a childminder so that I could stay at home and look after children as that is what I have always done, is what I enjoy and my own chilren will benifit from it too. Which is what I had planned from an early age and thankfully my husband was happy for this too.
We go to toddler groups, do arts and crafts, go to the park and play in the garden. During the holidays we do day trips. All Activities and development observations are recorded and examples can be seen.
