About Me
From a very young age it has been my dream to work with children. I believe I am a conscientious and compassionate individual whose upbringing has taught me the importance of family values. My pragmatic but sensitive approach has stood me in good stead when working with children on both play and learning situations. My experiences of working in families, nurseries and schools has taught me that no two children are the same and no two days are the same in childcare.
I am a fun-loving nanny with a proactive, bubbly, energetic and enthusiastic approach with a great love of the outdoors. I am a keen advocate of forest schools and believe that every day with children should be a new adventure.
In my nanny practice I believe I am flexible, reliable, confident, kind, creative, dynamic, active, well organised and a values-based nanny with confidence who can encourage developmental milestones. I love to get involved with imaginative play and provide age-appropriate activities inside and outside of the family home.
My Experience
I have experience of a wide range of children, including new-born. I have been babysitting since I was 16 and have experience in a variety of roles such as: Live in Nanny, Proxy Parent, Event Nanny, Part Time Nanny, Summer Holiday Cover, Mother's Help and many more.
In my previous role I performed all childcare/nursery duties including but not limited to school runs, keeping all children’s areas clean and tidy, children’s laundry, traveling, preparing healthy, home-cooked and nutritious meals / snacks, taking to groups/parks, arranging play dates and most importantly having huge amounts of fun.
