Hi, I’m Poppy, 40 year old mother available to help you with your childcare needs.
I simply love children and enjoy helping them learn and grow at every stage of their young lives. My strengths are that I am a very responsible, reliable, fun and caring person who is extremely child centered. I am as keen to assist with creative or imaginary play as I am out in nature with them or helping them learn a new skill or complete homework. I am adaptable to an individuals parenting style of raising their children and am fully respectful of any cultural or religious beliefs. I am happy to assist around the house if needed and to cook for the children.
My Experience
As a mother myself I am experienced in all aspects of day to day childcare from newborn onwards. I am fully versed in both morning and bedtime routines as well as pre school activities, school runs, extra curricular clubs and the dreaded homework. Being a stay at home mum for many years granted me the opportunity to be fully involved in my daughters early years development from play to early education. I have also worked with children over the years as part of my role, looking after them out of school hours, teaching them horse riding and babysitting for friends and family. I have also spent years assisting with the pony club with both ridden and non ridden members.
My Qualifications
Whilst I have no formal qualifications my life experience can offer your children a safe, warm, happy environment with me. My experience as a mother I feel grants me personal experience with a child’s life.
