My name is Courtney and I am 21 years old. I am a well mannered, warm and compassionate individual who has experience caring for children from 3 months to 15 years, through a variety of informal interactions and 6 months in a nursery setting. I am a keen and confident individual who is emotionally mature with lots of energy. My Experience
I gained experience through working in a nursery for 6 months, during this time I learned so much knowledge about caring and looking after children of a variety of ages in different levels of their development stages too.
-Based in the toddler room with children 16 months - 3 years
-Planned engaging activities to support children with their development, such as arts and crafts and music
-Supported with feeding and meal times. Including teaching the children how to use cutlery
-Prepared and gave bottles to babies
-Undertook nappy changes and loo trips as required
-Responsible for taking the children for outside adventures and trips to the park
-Submitted reports of the children’s progress and development throughout the day
I have also gained an extensive range of informal and personal experience through looking after and babysitting my nieces and nephew, all the way from newborn up until the age of 15 years old.
