About Me
Hi! My name is Gemma and i’m an enthusiastic, dependable and dedicated nanny. I have worked with children since i was 13 years old (seven years!) when I started my own babysitting business. I then went on to work in multiple nurseries and then nannying! I pride myself on my knowledge of childcare and my patience and creativity during work. I enjoy creating fun and safe environments for children to grow and develop securely in and working alongside parents to ensure their child is getting everything they need!
My Experience
I have seven years experience working with children. I started a babysitting business at 13 which was recommended throughout the area I live in which then lead to my Level 3 qualification in childcare. From this qualification i was offered a job at multiple nurseries from the age of 17 and I loved my times in the baby, toddler, and pre school rooms! I later realised I wanted to be able to give children more attention and time which is difficult to do in a nursery setting due to the amount of children so I decided to start nannying which I love! Being able to take the children out to new experiences and places for their development is amazing and so rewarding!
My Qualifications
I have a full level 3 CACHE qualification, paediatric first aid, and a level 2 musical theatre qualification (I love to incorporate singing and creativity into children’s development!)
My Availability
I am available to work either part time (no less than 36 hours a week) or full time (around 40 hours a week). If needed I can do occasional overnights and babysitting.
