I’ve worked in many places, from nurseries to restaurants. I have full childcare qualifications, with a DBS check and first aid training. I have a full driving license and own my own car. My only availability I have now is Monday evenings and weekends left.
My Experience
I’ve worked in childcare for a few years with different age children from the age of 3 months to 12 years. I recently work in a private day nursery working with the ages 3 months to 5 years. Absolutely loved it, watching them learn and reach different milestones. I have recently done babysitting and looking forward to meet many more lovely families!

We had used Chantelle for a few months.
Apart from time keeping which was an issue, we never had any other issue. Then suddenly out of the blue we had a message saying she was going back into a nursery she would give us plenty of notice before doing so, it is fine if that’s want she wanted to. However to randomly get a message at 9pm at night saying it’s her last shift is not appropriate at all and leaves family’s like myself in dilemma with high cost from using an agency firm
Stay clear and look for a long term nanny.

Be careful! Invited her for an interview to meet my daughter and for a chat about our needs. Came for interview. I said dont need to be here long. I said to her you want money for today and said no. Then she stayed longer as soon as i said and next day sent me a message that she wanted money ! Also broke agreement before we started and wanted money weekly before her going on holiday instead of our monthly agreement. She is insulted me and called me pathetic because i told her about her not wanting money and put pressure on me to hire her. She didnt say she had another family. She dont care about families. She is all about the money and is u able to work with people. Be careful people and stay away!

Chantelle is very good with navigating without directives from her first day. She is very communicative, highly patient and creative with my 4 years old Peter. She collects peter after school and engages him full time to prevent danger naps so mama and dada can have quality night sleep. Peter 😭 when she leaves as she’s his best Lego building buddy. xx

Channy is amazing and she’s kind, patient and very playful with my boy.
She’s also very great at communicating as she keeps you updated on everything.
I’m so happy to have met her and felt at ease leaving her with my son. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better.

I got in touch with this childminder last week and arranged a home visit today at 11:30. But since the initial agreement there has been no further contact, and she did not turn up at all. Became unresponsive on all messages. This caused huge inconvenience to our family. It is not professional at all to ghost a family without any notice.

Chantelle has been babysitting our just over two-and-a half year old son regularly for a few weeks now. She is a joy to work with. Punctual, polite, sensible, bright and straightforward in communication. Extremely responsive in the case of any changes to requests and always available to answer questions even when not officially on the job for us. If she is going to be 5 minutes late, she messages asap. She brings her creativity- invents different play time activities for our son which he enjoys, plus reads to him. Calms him down nicely even when he has a strop. She also does creative arts and crafts for special occasions. She uses her own initiative very well- deciding how best to respond to what he needs in the minute, whether need of a snack or to get out for a walk. It is clear she is very experienced with toddlers and has been a great addition to the household for the parents too, dispensing advice from her nursery experience etc to first time parents. We were lucky to find her and would work with her anytime.

My son has SEN and is sometimes cautious with new people but he took to Chantelle straight away like he’d met her before and she was brilliant with him - very patient and kept him entertained.

First time using a babysitter and Chantalle was amazing! Arrived on time and our kids absolutely loved her, she also kept us updated on how they were. Will definitely be asking her back soon!

Channy came to babysit my 10 year old son last minute as I'd been let down. Extremely punctual, my little boy really enjoyed his time with her, would 100% use Channy on a regular basis! 😊
