About Me
I have worked in childcare for over 25 years now and still enjoy looking after children as much now as I did at the start of my career. Building strong, lasting relationships with the children and their families is really important to me, and I have found that working as a nanny really does build these bonds.
I have continued to update and renew my training throughout my career and hold alot of qualifications, which have been really beneficial in my roles. The childcare sector has changed alot during my time in it but my ethos has always remained the same, to be a safe place for the child/ren in my care.
I am a relaxed, friendly person who is pretty easy going, I have found that when looking after children things can change quite often so I have a very "go with the flow" outlook.
I have 2 grown up children of my own and when they were younger we moved around a lot with my husbands job so I understand how important it is to find someone you can rely on and trust.
My Experience
I have over 25 years of childcare experience, working with children mainly from birth to school age, but I do have experience with older children as well.
I have worked as a nanny, in nurseries, children's centres and mother and baby units
I am paediatric 1st aid, SENCO and safeguarding trained, I also have an enhanced DBS
My Qualifications
NNEB (Childcare qualification)
Enhanced DBS
Paediatric 1st aid
Safeguarding level 3
All other qualifications available on request
My Availability
I am available for a full time live out Nanny position, but would consider part time, depending on hours.
I am also available for babysitting, mainly on evenings and weekends, but I maybe available at other times.
