About Me
I am a recent Edinburgh university graduate in oral health sciences, for the job title of Dental Hygiene Therapist. My course has provided me with annual first aid training for adults and children, health and safety requirements, all background checks and vaccinations. I specifically excelled in Paediatric dentistry, winning the British Society of paediatric dentistry prize this year, as well as thoroughly enjoying interacting and educating children of all ages and abilities in not only dental care but personal growth and development. During my training, i was able to gain experience helping children of all ages and abilities, as well as parents and careers and have a deep understanding of the individuality of families and their children. I am the second eldest child of 5, growing up with very hands on experience caring for my siblings, as well as years of previous babysitting and caring for young children. I have a passion for outdoor education, as a very active person myself i enjoy hiking, sports and follow a healthy vegan diet.
My Experience
During my school years i was a regular babysitter for multiple families, helping with school work, entertaining and cooking. As i progressed into univeristy, the nature of my course allowed me to take a further interest in paediatric health care and education, interacting with children and parents daily, treating a wide variety of children with various needs.
