About Me
I’m 27 and from Australia. I’m currently on a work visa in the UK. I have a love for children and feel they bring so much joy and must be nurtured. I’m always up for fun activities, reading or watching a movie. Even happy to do child friendly baking and cooking! I’ve always looked after children through friends and family on and off over the years and I’ve always loved it. I’m looking for a full time or part time live out nanny type of role and can also offer occasionally baby sitting. I currently work part time in hospitality but looking to leave for an exciting new career adventure. I feel I can’t offer any of good qualities in hospitality and want to go back to a caring and nurturing setting that I can offer something to and feel purposeful.
My Experience
I have no professional experience or qualifications with a children but I have had years of experience of looking after children including babies and twins through family, friends and family friends. I’ve also spent the last 5 years working in aged care which has given me experience with complex needs and behaviours. Special needs, disabilities, behavioural issues related to dementia and mental health amongst other things.
My Qualifications
I have a certificate lll in Individual Support in Australia. I don’t have any children or UK qualifications. Although I am happy to get a DBS check and willing to obtain a qualification in First Aid for children if neccessary!
