My Experience

Babysitter/Cleaner (2016-2022)
• I frequently babysat a child since they were 10 years old until they were 16, often overnight.
• During this time I was responsible for preparing meals for the child, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• I completed household chores, such as dishes, laundry, mopping and hoovering.
• I was also in charge of night-time routines - ensuring the child showered, brushed their teeth and went to sleep at their designated bedtime.
• When I handled the morning routine, this included preparing the child for school and ensuring they were ready on time.
Babysitter (2018-2021)
• I cared for two children under the age of 10 overnight consistently.
• I had to adapt to the children’s schedules and needs as well as the parents’ through effective communication and attentive listening.
• Often I planned, organized and led activities, as well as prepared meals and drinks while maintaining a high standard of hygiene and quality.
• Each night was different so I had to be constantly prepared and problem-solve through an unpredictable environment.
• A need to maintain enthusiasm was key to the role, as well as building trust and a relationship with the children.

My Qualifications

I have been taking care of children since I was fifteen. Outside of my two regular childcare roles from 2016-2022, I took care of a few other children and babies during this timeframe on less frequent occasions. My roles varied but included taking care of both morning and nighttime routines, taking care of household chores, getting children ready for school, and preparing meals for the children. I am capable of adjusting to each family's individual needs.

My Availability

I have full availability until the 25th of June. Then I have full availability again starting on the 10th of July.
