About Me

Hello parents! My name is Urania, I have been working at a private nursery for 5 years with the Reggio Emilia approach which is an educational approach believing and valuing children as strong, independent, capable and resilient. Over the years I have gained experience with children with special educational needs and dissabilities. I have set up age-appropriate activities aiming to allow children to have rich educational experiences through different materials, providing them with physical, sensory and art plays. I think I get the love for working with children from my mum who is a Nursery Head Teacher for over 13 years and who has taken me to her child educational journey since I was 9. I have also learned the traditional development approach from her as a structured based approach directing and following step by step whith the children in learning development matters. Over the years I have also worked as a babysitter and I have used the approaches that the parents have asked me to. I love spending time and paying with children so if you need any help I would be more than happy to help!
