About Me
I am 25 years old (he/him) and have recently moved to Rye. I am predominantly looking for ad-hoc babysitting jobs at the moment but I am also open to providing help with newborns, private midwifery and doula-type roles.
I originally trained as a Midwife whilst living in London and worked within the NHS for 2 years. I then rather spontaneously moved to Margate with my partner and spent roughly 10 months nannying for some little ones aged 1-2, as well as working part-time as a PA for a 9 year old boy.
I am due to start a new job on the maternity unit at Conquest Hospital however this will be only part time, leaving me available to babysit in my spare time.
I genuinely love spending time with children, playing games, reading stories, and going on adventures. I am calm and compassionate, and usually find it easy to build rapport. When I am there to care for your little one(s), my undivided attention will be on them, their happiness and their safety, and I love trying to find common ground and adapting to what type of play/interaction works best for each child.
I have a full, clean drivers license and own a small car.
I don’t have much interest in housekeeper style roles and am mainly keen to be involved in child-related cleaning/cooking tasks if needed.
My Experience
As part of my Midwifery I have been basic life support trained, have recent DBS certification, and extensive experience with newborns.
In addition to this i have gained:
• 10 months experience nannying for young children aged 1-2 including a pair of twins
• 1 years experience supporting a young person with a disability in a PA-type role.
• 1 years experience tutoring Maths, English & 11+ to children aged 4-14
• Intermittent babysitting experience since my late teens
My Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree, 3x Alevels, 11x GCSEs
No formal teaching qualifications
My Availability
I am due to start a new part-time job which will include shift-working. Please feel free to contact me with any dates you are in need of a babysitter and I will be able to check my rota and get back to you.
I have regular commitments each week on a Thursday so I am generally unavailable to babysit then.

Elliott is a natural with children. My kids adored him. He played with them, got on their level, made small boring tasks fun and without a doubt a part of our family.
Elliott participated is so many toddler groups that I adored for the girls
Would highly recommend!

Elliott is a wonderful, caring, compassionate and humourous PA/childminder to my 9 year old disabled son. They get on so well with each other and the house is always full of laughs and giggles when they're playing games, watching videos or playing with toys. Elliott is thoughtful, tidy and I trust him fully looking after my son's additional needs, helping with his mobility, feeding and medication as needed. Thoroughly recommended and adored by the whole family!
