About Me
Hi my name is Kelly and I'm an Ofsted registered Child minder, in Sandhills, Leighton Buzzard and I live with my husband Mark, our son Jack, our daughter’s Lily & Ada, along with our own little tiger......Tango (Ginger Tom cat) and our two French Bulldogs Bert and Ernie! I am also a step mother to 22 year old Natasha. We love being outdoors and going for walks. I like to think that I am a bubbly and friendly person and I love being with children.
We aim to create a positive, welcoming and safe environment for all children in my care and their parents/carers. I have a clean, full UK driving Licence, which I have held for over 19 years and have a car of my own.
My husband Mark joined me as my childminding assistant back in September 2015, when our business expanded!
During our most recent Ofsted inspection we have been awarded GOOD in all areas.
Mark has got the following certificates:
. Paediatric Infant and Child First Aid level 3
. Safeguarding
Mark also has experience with special needs as well as having our own children.
Mark has currently gone back to being employed, however has remained registered as my assistant.
My Experience
I have been working with children for 22 years now and I am fully qualified to level 3 with management experience where I helped to gain an Ofsted outstanding. I really enjoy being part of the children’s lives and helping them develop and grow. I take correct responsibility in looking after every childs individual needs as well as following The Early Years Foundation Stage and OFSTED. I have many years with first hand experiences with special educational needs children and a high understanding of their needs.
My Qualifications
I am fully qualified at EDI level 3 in Children's care, Learning and Development, EDI Level 2 Key Skills in Application of Number and EDI Level 2 Keys skills in Communication.
I also hold the following certificates:

My Availability
Current spaces available are Monday and Friday term time only from September 2025. I do open 4 weeks over the summer holidays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Ours fees are set at a daily rate, not hourly and includes healthy snacks, however you will need to provide a labelled packed lunch, Nappies, wipes and creams as well as sun cream and outings are included within your fees.

Kelly and Mark are excellent. We have used them for wraparound care for our daughter and they have more than impressed us with their professionalism and caring. Kelly's communication is brilliant, she replies so quickly to any query and the reliability of this provider is outstanding. A lovely warm, friendly, caring family environment that we would highly recommend.

Kelly & Marc are fab!!! My little one has been going to Kelly & Marc for about 6 months after a bad experience with a previous childminder and I couldn’t be happier! They are a fantastic couple that not only have a great relationship with the kiddies they look after but the parents too. My little one loves going and is always happy to go. He has variety of different foods and always bringing things home that he has made. They are always flexible, will help out in an emergency, always keeps me well informed, with lots of pics/videos which is lovely. Would 100% recommend! Great job guys xx

Kelly and Mark are great with my daughter, very friendly and my daughter calls for them even when at home. Kelly is very enthusiastic and plans a variety of different activities to engage the children. Kelly encourages the children to use their imagination with lots of arts and crafts, outdoors trips to parks and zoo, singing and stories. She is very affectionate and truly cares about my daughters wellbeing. I am very happy with Kelly and Mark and I hope to continue working with them for a long time. I would completely recommend them.

Our twins absolutely loved going to Kelly's and would jump into her arms when I dropped them off. Kelly is very creative and fully immerses herself in teaching the children. Both Kelly and Mark are very caring towards their charges and are great with their communication. Highly recommended.

Kelly and her husband Mark are beyond amazing childminders. My son loves going to Kelly's four days a week and he learns so much! My son eats different variety of food at Kelly's including lots of fruit and veg, to make him big and strong!
Kelly takes the children on lots of days out to different places and treats the children as her own. Kelly is most certainly professional and friendly!
I couldn't imagine sending my son to any other childminder. Kelly is a 10/10 on every aspect of childminding, and my self & my partner wouldn't change a thing!

Kelly and her family treat your child like he or she is one of their own.
They offer children plenty of fun activities in a safe and friendly environment or if it's quiet time and a hug that is needed, that can easily be arranged too! :)
My daughter was with Kelly for just over a year and would still be there now if she hadn't started pre-school in September this year.
My Daughter is a confident, happy little girl and ready to explore the big wide world and I'm confident that Kelly and her family have something to do with that due to their wonderful care and treatment of my daughter.
I will miss not seeing Kelly on a weekly basis but I couldn't keep this wonderful childminder all to myself ? (And of course, our babies have a tendency to grow up!).
My Daughter will miss you all terribly.

Kelly and Mark have been excellent childminders for our 21 month old son. They are extremely professional and ensure that the children's development and needs are constantly met. Our little boy really grew in confidence and personality during his time with them. During school holidays our eldest son also went to the house and thoroughly enjoyed himself, always asking if he could go back the next day.
We can't recommend Kelly and Mark enough.

When I first starting looking for a child minder a friend recommended Kelly...when we visited it looked very inviting and my son just walked in like it was my house and played in a car...we like the fact that Kelly husband also help look after the children's and that they have a male role model I have now placed my son with Kelly and he loves it no crying nothing
