About Me
Hello, my name is Marie and I am a mother of a little boy who is 16 months. My childminding setting is a child-centred home away from home in the village of Yatton. it is a family home with a secure grassy garden which looks out onto green fields where the cows and occasional deer graze.
I love being creative whether this is through using our piano with nursery rhymes or baking. I'm not sure you can beat a home grown courgette in a vegan chocolate cake!
We spend time outside every day whether it is in the garden or in the local area. We are lucky to have the Strawberry Line, three parks, a toddler group and library within walking distance to provide a variety of activities each day.
My Experience
I am a qualified teacher of Secondary School History and have retrained as a childminder since having my little boy. I have worked with children for over 10 years and I enjoy sharing my curiosity of learning with them and engaging them in the past and the world around us.

NCFC CASCHE Childcare Level 3
PGCE (QTS) Secondary History Teacher Post Graduate
Bachelor of Arts in History
