My Requirements
I am looking for a childminder for 15 hours per week, to utilise the free childcare for 2 year olds. This is for a young boy who is in my foster care, who has just turned 2 (in July). I need an experienced childminder who is able to cater for his challenges and who has some understanding of trauma, so that they can understand the reasons behind some his behaviours, also being able to provide a safe and stable environment for him to thrive and to support him in his development in all areas. He has delayed speech and language so we are using some simple Makaton signs to help him communicate. We are very flexible on the timings of the hours, but would like at least one, preferably two afternoons per week until 5/5.30pm. Ideally in Beccles or Worlingham. The 15hrs per week would be to start from September.
We are also looking for a childminder who has availability asap for at least one afternoon per week through the school holidays.
