My Experience
I’ve worked in a childcare settings for the last 6 years I’ve looked after babies from 6 months up to 8 years but I have my own children so have experience of new borns and teenagers too. Ive spent a lot of time in my most recent employment, teaching pre school children , who are leaving above the expected range for their age, to go to reception in September. Whilst working here, I progressed from assistant to Deputy Manager. I moved to a nursery closer to home but now realise I prefer to nanny/ babysit. I’ve got my paediatric first aid, safe guarding level 3, food hygiene level 2, learning through play, child protection.
I’m not Ofsted registered, so unable to take on family’s who want to claim back tax free childcare.

Rachael has looked after my 2 year old on three occasions over the last few weeks and have been blown away by her professionalism, patience and warmth. We are very much in the “terrible twos” era and nothing phases her. She came with amazing activities and crafts and my son who can struggle with strangers absolutely loved her. I would 100% reccomend Rachael she is an absolute pro.

Rachel was great with my little boy and communicative during the time she spent with him. I was relaxed as I new I could trust her and everything would go well.

Rachael looked after our son for 10 or so days during the school holidays. She has a wealth of experience and takes a genuinely kind and loving approach to childcare. Rachael was brimming with ideas, would bring games and toys with her to play with him, and really treated him as we would. Can't thank you enough Rachael, you made the school hols so much easier for us, and enjoyable for him.

It was my absolute pleasure. Thank you for making me so welcome and my job was easy and so much fun because of your little one.
Trying to find somebody to care for your child isn't the easiest however from the beginning of contacting Rachael she couldn't have been anymore helpful. Rachael now baby sits my daughter as a when i need her and my daughter loves her Rachael. Thankyou for looking after my little girl like shes your own.

Rachael looked after our 3 year old boy several times a week for a few months. They formed a really great bond and you would often hear him laughing his head off. At his age it's most important they are comfortable and having fun.
Beyond that she structured the day really well. She would always bring something new and engaging for him to do each day, arts or learning. There would also be plenty of time for him to choose his play to keep things fun.
I would strongly recommend Rachael. Her experience and Nursery background is invaluable but most importantly our boy enjoyed spending time with her.
