About Me
Hi there! I’m an enthusiastic tutor/class teacher with over 20 years of experience, having lived in London before moving to Church Langley a few years ago. Originally from North Wales, I’ve also taught abroad, which gave me loads of fun challenges and helped me learn how to connect with kids from all backgrounds.
I’m a dog lover who enjoys long walks, and I bring that same energy to my teaching. I use a mix of approaches, including art and creative activities, to make sure every child enjoys learning and feels confident. I aim to work with children in their homes, helping them build confidence and a real love for learning in their secure environment.
My goal is for children to proudly say, “I had fun, and I learnt this today!” instead of the usual “Nothing much” when asked about school! No matter their learning style, I make sure every child can access the curriculum and feel proud of their progress.

My Experience
With over 20 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the pleasure of working with children from nursery all the way through to Year 6. Through teaching and tutoring, I’ve gained extensive experience across both Key Stages. I’m passionate about creating a learning environment where children feel excited and engaged.
I believe every child learns best at their own pace, and when they enjoy the process, the knowledge sticks! My approach ensures that each session is tailored to meet the child’s needs, making learning not just effective but fun and memorable.

Have been Maths lead and currently Art/DT lead.

Alice has been working with our 6 year old daughter for 3 months now, she has helped her so much, her writing and maths have excelled and we are very happy with her progress. Alice has helped build our daughters confidence, she is encouraging, kind funny, very patient and is always implementing news learning ideas to encourage our daughter's learning. We would definitely recommend Alice and are so glad we found her!
