About Me
Hi there! I am a part time nanny looking for a great family to help out with. I am creative, kind, patient and energetic. I love working with children and have done so in many different settings throughout my life; from teaching horse riding, to babysitting, to piano teacher, to nannying. It is a great privilege to be involved in children’s lives. I am an artist in the rest of my time. I can offer up to 12 months for the right family and possibly more.
My Experience
I have 4 years experience teaching piano in Cape Town to children of all ages as well as 2.5 years experience of nanny work in 3 different countries. I also have plenty of babysitting experience for many, many years now as I have always been the go-to babysitter since my teen years!
My duties as a nanny included:
- Nursery/preschool pickup
- take children out during the morning or afternoon to playgroups, extracurricular activities, soft play, pool, city farm, museum, aquarium, parks and playgrounds.
- prepare healthy meals for lunch and healthy snacks throughout the day.
- provide lots of opportunities for the children to learn through play and creativity
- light household work and tidying up
- I am also very happy to help with pets as I am very comfortable around animals
My Qualifications
I have 2.5 years nanny experience in different countries (UK, Switzerland and Costa Rica) for children from the ages of 10 months to 7 years old. I also have four years experience teaching piano to children from the ages of 6 to 14 years old.
- Paediatric first aid

- full drivers license
- own car
- UK references.
My Availability
I am working part time for one family and have a full day Thursday available for another role. I am also available for ad hoc babysitting on weekends and evenings.

i have worked with many sitters over the years in different countries and I cant reccoment Abigail enough. we came to Bristol for a holiday and due to short notice cancellation of another candidate, she had to rescue us last minute. she didnt hesitate and jumped right in, creating calm and a loving environment for our baby of 10 months and son of 4. she was punctual, fleixbel, communicated well. she came up with great games and trip ideas to keep our kids engaged and entertained. Great uob and thank you!
