My Summary

My Experience

I have been a regular volunteer teaching an after-school Latin club to 11 children aged 6-10 at a local primary school for 1 hour per week during term time over the past 2 years. I have made strong connections with the children, so much so that many of the club's members stayed in the club for the whole 2 years I worked there and encouraged many of their friends to take part. The group expanded from 3 members to 11 members over my time teaching. I have also been a volunteer leader at the 2022 Restless Development Schools Triathlon, directing many children around the event and helping them to navigate the busy routes. I have participated in 2 'Have A Go Days' organised by my school, in which we help to allow children and adults with special needs and disabilities to have fun doing a wide range of activities; I specifically helped with swimming. Over the past year, I spent 6 months working in childcare for children in ski school in Whistler, Canada. This involved caring for injured children, entertaining children from ages 3-11, and cooking for children, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Over the summer, I also tutored for a 10 year old girl once a week.

A Levels : English A*, French A, Latin A
GCSEs: 7 x 9 Grades (Including English Literature and English Language), 2 x 8 Grades, 2 x 7 Grades (Including Mathematics)
Senior Academic Exhibition, Junior Academic Scholar, Singing Exhibition, House Prefect.
DELF B2 French

My Availability

I am working around my university schedule, so my availability is limited, but I am looking to make some extra money by taking hours whenever I can.
