I am 19 years old, i’ve decided to have a gap year to decide what I want to be in life and am trying to experience new things. I love children and to be honest i am one at heart which makes things so much easier when dealing with children on a daily basis. I think it’s extremely important for you to understand the child and their needs in the first place. I love engaging and keep them busy and creative as much I can, I like them to explore their feelings and their thoughts, helping them to be real people and understand their feelings and needs. I love helping with cognitive development too.
My Experience
I have worked with children for most of my adulthood. I work at a languages school on the weekends with a range of age from 2-11 years old. I have also babysit a little girl for over a year and half, she was only 2 when I first started. I’m one of the oldest cousins so I would always look after my baby cousins on holidays and weekends.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 2 qualification in Child Development.
