My Summary
About Me
Hi! I am Kayleigh, I am 26 and I am primary education practitioner. I currently work in SEN provision for children with Autism.
I started tutoring because I am passionate about education and allowing children the chance to learn and thrive. Everyone has potential to be unlocked, they may just need a nudge to get there. Which is my job!
I am patient and understanding of all students, from SEN to mainstream.
My Experience
As part of my everyday job I have been planning and delivering bespoke lessons, for each of my students. I also lead our phonics within primary and work closely with the SENCO on sensory items and the use of these in school. Alongside this I have been working with the occupational therapist to develop fine and gross motor programmes across the school. Within my role I teach within the national curriculum and have been teaching for 3 years. I also coach karate and dance. I have been doing this for 10 years and was the basis of my development and progress in teaching.
My Qualifications
2:1 Dance Education Degree
QTS qualified (teacher training)
Currently studying - Masters in Inclusive Education

Kayleigh is great with communication, responded quickly and we discussed what was needed for my son. Unfortunately when it came to arranging a session, Kayleigh was unreliable. The first session was postponed due to covid in her household. (At my request once she made me aware an hour before the session was due to start), the second was postponed because it was a morning session and she had a large gap between another client in the afternoon. Kayleigh offered an afternoon session instead which I told her isn't suitable for my son. I agreed to move it to the following day as per Kayleighs request. Later that day, I had a message to say she wasn't sure why she arranged it for the following day as she wasn't free and could we arrange it for the afternoon after. I told kayleigh we were not available the day after. She told me she will try and move some things around and get back to me. I did not hear from Kayleigh again, despite messaging her.
An absolute shame as I thought I hit the jackpot with a regular tutor for my son. Kayleigh was the most communative and understanding out of everyone I have contact, which is why I chose her. Unfortunately, it didn't work out.
