My Summary

My Experience

I have extensive experience working with people with disabilities, particularly autism, running accessible activities, supporting and facilitating learning - with particular focus on independent living skills, developing speech and communication, and emotional regulation/PBS support. I have worked in social care/SEN education for four years now, in a range of settings - i.e. assisted living, care home and currently an SEN specialist college.
I am comfortable and familiar with liaising with parents and communicating with health care professionals to best strategise and tailor my support to the individual and indentify key skills and areas for development.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 in AET (Award in Education and Training), and a level 2 in Understanding Autism as recognised by the department for education.
I have BA in English literature, providing excellent written and verbal communication and a confidence to assist children academically.
I am also a trained first aider, trained in epilepsy and diabetes medical support.

My Availability

I would ideally work hours between 8:30 and 7pm, Monday - Friday during the school term, with flexible/part time availability during weekends and school holidays.

My Fees

• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

Fees are negotiable, if the children/family are a good fit for my services.
