About Me
We are a family of 4, soon to be 5. Our oldest daughter has complex disability. She is 4-year-old and her name is Meghan.
The local authority has not been able to allocate her a school, meantime they will not pay her nursery hours from September due to her age. So she will be home with us until further notice/specialist school placement.
Our new arrival is in September too so we are looking for some help at home around Meghan. Special needs education experience is a bonus but not a deal breaker. Our second born is at full time nursery so the support is purely for Meghan.
I will be home with the new born baby as well so no need to worry about being left alone with a special needs child. The support we would like is mainly around Meghan to play with her and stimulate her whilst I am recovering from surgery and getting into new routine.
We are very flexible with the hours, hence not filled out the hours. It is all about having some stimulation for her since she is out of school setting at the moment.
Starting can be immediate, we don’t need to wait until September.
My Requirements
She is non verbal but expresses herself beautifully with different sounds. She has limited mobility. She is very bright loves playing, reading time, singing etc.
