My Experience
My experiences in childcare range from babysitting, school settings, day nursery nannying. I have babysat children for many years, for families to attend events or appointments etc. This experience allowed me to gain first hand taking care of children and progressed me through the many years I took to get where I am today. I began working as a student then progressing into becoming a Teaching Assistant working with children aged 3-8 years old. Supporting children to learn to read and write, supporting them through tasks and learning new skills. I previously worked in a day nursery primarily in the baby room, gaining more experience around young babies aged 6 weeks to 2 years. I gained more experience in preparing bottles, nappy changes, allergy issues, 1:3 ratio, working as part of a team, working with parents. I have multiple experiences nannying two children with a short age gap, which including taking the children on day trips, meal preparation, bedtime routines, school drop offs/pick ups, nappy changes, installing car seats, taking the children to afterschool clubs, helping around the house, travelling, working with outside agencies, working closely with both parents.

Childhood Studies Foundation Degree.
Childhood Studies Honars Degree.
First Aid trained.
DBS checked - on the update service.
My Availability
Looking for full time hours ~ 30 hours which can either be spread over 5 days or three days.

Monday-Friday £14 an hour. Weekend/unsociable hours £15 an hour.
