My Requirements

We are looking for a temporary, full-time (50 hours) nanny to support our 1 year old son while our permanent nanny is away for four weeks. Full-time hours are Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. The dates needed for full-time are June 17-July 12 with shadow and part-time work for the weeks leading up.

We'd like to first meet over a FaceTime call, then have you come to shadow our current nanny for a few days. Once we're committed to you working full-time, we'll work with you on weekends until the full-time work starts.

We mostly work from home so will be around most days, however we will need someone to be with our son 1:1. We require up to date infant CPR and first aid certifications as well as 10+ years experience minding children professionally. Only non-smokers. We expect to find someone who will respect the boundaries and requests we have for minding our son while encouraging his development and ensuring his well being. Must speak fluent English.

We are hoping to learn from you and that you’ll become part of our family as we build trust together. We’re first-time parents and would love a nanny who can help our son develop as well as teaching us how to be better parents ourselves. Daily responsibilities include feeding solids, changing nappies and dressing, maintaining a nap schedule and engaging with our child in ways that will advance his cognitive and motor skill development.

We are very hygiene-conscious and we expect our nanny to be mindful of potential germ risks (e.g., regular hand washing, ensuring toys/dummies/etc. are sanitary before play). You will need to be very risk aware around the house and our dog will be present.

Any play dates need to be vetted by us first. Guests aren’t permitted. Daily walks around the local park are the extent of any travel required (no driving, taxi, bus, tube, etc.) and will only be permitted after we’ve established trust together.
