About Me
Hi! Originally from Staffordshire, I have spent two years in Bristol teaching and have just moved to beautiful Bath! I am a sociable, passionate and nurturing individual and love working with children. Music has always been a big part of my life- you will always find me singing and I am hoping to find an Orchestra in Bath to play my flute! Unfortunately, my flat is no pets allowed however, I love visiting my two rabbits and Labrador back at my family home :)
My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher for two years. My first year was based in Year 1 and since then, I have supplied in several schools across Bristol in long-term placements from reception-Year 6. I provide tutoring services after work in term-time and undertake nursery work in the school holidays with experience of looking after children from the age of 10 months. For me, building a strong relationship with children where they feel respected and nurtured is so important and I enjoy creating learning opportunities based on understanding children's individual learning styles and interests.
My Qualifications
I have a First Class Honours Degree in English Literature and Philosophy and gained a Distinction in my PGCE. Additionally, I have completed several safeguarding courses and continue to complete these as part of my professional development.
My Availability
I am not working from the 24th of July and free from the 29th until the end of August.
