Hi, My name is Jo ( the children call me Jo Jo ) .
I am a local OFSTED registered childminder graded GOOD in my last inspection. I have been a childminder since 2004.
I live with my husband, 2 sons age 21 and 18 and our 2 friendly cockapoos, Cookie and Loxley.
I provide a safe, warm and welcoming home from home environment for your children to grow, play and learn.
We attend children’s theatre, forest school, toddler groups, libraries, parks etc as well as fun days out to places like softplays, farms etc.
I provide before and after school care to WASPS school in Weston.
My Experience
I have worked with children since i was a teenager.
I started babysitting for local families and friends.
I left school in 1998 and went straight on to do a NNEB Diploma in childcare which i gained my qualification in 2000.
From then i went on to work as a nanny, in nurseries, schools and finally as a childminder which i really enjoy to this present day. Each day is filled with fun and laughter and each child brings smiles and happiness into our home.
My Qualifications
OFSTED registered. [Good grading]
childcare.co.uk insured.
I have a NNEB Diploma in childcare.
I am paediatric first aid trained.
Food hygiene 5 star rating.
I have many course certificates which i am updating frequently.

jo has looked after all 3 of my children and has always provided excellent care for them. the time they spent with jo was just like having a second home! jo makes an effort to do such lovely things with the children she cares for and is also very good at giving a helping hand and advice when needed. jo has a natural, kind and caring nature with the children and I always knew when the children were in her care I didn't have to worry about a thing. the children miss her terribly now she has moved away but we are very grateful for the outstanding care she provided for a number of years whilst the children were growing up.

jo has cared for my daughter olive since she was 6 months old. olive absolutely loved her time with jojo and has so many lovely memories. it is never easy leaving your child with someone you don't knowl, but jo has always made us feel at ease, and i have never had any concerns about the wonderful care that has been provided. jojo is very trustworthy , and we have never been let down. olive is now at school, and jo is now looking after my son who also loves his time there. jo provides us with very regular photos of our little ones with her, which is lovely to see .
i would highly recommend jojo as a fantastic childminder.
