My Experience

I have been a nanny since I was 19 years old, starting with a full-time role as an au pair in New York City where I looked after an 11 year old girl and 8 year old boy. I then worked for another family full time, also in New York, who had a 2 year old daughter. I was responsible for everything to do with the children! Cooking, cleaning, playing, homework - you name it!

I then came home aged 21 where I became a summer nanny working for different families through the summer holidays. I have worked as both a full time live in nanny, and as a part time live out nanny. I have cared for children aged 1-13. During term time I worked various jobs such as a housekeeper for hotels, customer service in clothes shops, and a social media manager for small businesses.

Now I have a daughter of my own and I have loved becoming a mum! She is currently 5 months old. I do not have much family nearby (I am from the Lake District, I just moved to London in June).

I would like to start work again as a Nanny, but as I’m sure you all understand finding childcare is difficult and expensive! Because of this, sometimes I may not be able to get childcare for my daughter, and so that’s why my rates are low for the area due to me needing to bring my daughter with me sometimes. That’s why I’m looking for part-time nannying, ideally 2-3 hours a day. I can be flexible as long as I have notice, and I am also available for weekend and evening (after 6pm) babysitting.

My Qualifications

I have an A Level in Child Development and also passed my Au Pair Academy training which included play, discipline, child development, and first aid.

My Availability

Ideally 2-3 hours a day, would be happy to work more for the right family!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (net)

£10 for nannying during the day when I have my daughter. As I will not have my daughter on weekends/evenings, my rate is £14.
