My Summary
About Me
For two years, from 2020 until 2022, I worked as a class teacher with Mainstream six to eight year olds in a Steiner-inspired setting. I taught literacy, numeracy, art, science and music. It was a wonderful opportunity to inspire students with creative, motivating lessons
Prior to this, I worked with Special Needs Students in various school settings which helped me to develop an enthusiasm for assisting children and young people with their study and life challenges.
In this past year, I have been teaching English to non-natives, both adults and children.
Learning support work and EFL teaching are my favourite areas of work. I like to maintain my skills-base in both areas as much as possible.
I have an up-to-date D. B. S. certificate and can provide references from Schools that I have worked at previously, as well as from EFL students.
My Experience
I trained to be a Primary School Teacher in Denmark, but am Native to the UK. I am also a TEFL teacher. In addition, I have a Cross Fields SEND Qualification and plenty of experience - both as a teacher and as a teaching assistant - in supporting students needing help with learning.
