About Me
Mum and dad in late 30’s/early 40’s, a teenage daughter who’s 18 who works, a 16 year old boy with autism/anxiety/selective mutism and a 2 year old girl. We require childcare that can be flexible as the days required may change.
My Requirements
We are looking for a nanny/babysitter to look after my 2 year old, preparing her meals, snacks, bottles, changing her nappies. Playing with her toys with her, taking her out for walks to the park etc, maybe even going to baby/toddler groups occasionally and my son is currently home schooled so he will need meals/snacks and drinks making for him and just checking he’s ok and offering him trips to the park etc too but he will be very anxious and quiet with you as he normally is with most people. It will be really useful if you have experience of children/teenagers with autism and anxiety and communication issues.
We have never had any childcare for my 2 year old before and my son hasn’t had anyone else come to the house to look after him before either so this all very new to us all and we are happy for you to have a few shifts with us around for a while or just popping in and saying hello etc so the children get used to you before starting with us properly.
we are also happy to discuss the option of you bringing your child/children to our house while you work if needed some or all of the time, also if you had to take our youngest child with you to pop out to do school drop off/picks up for your children this is ok too. (Our oldest is ok at home on his own for short periods).
