About Me
I am a postgraduate student from the USA studying Early Childhood Education and Froebel at the University of Edinburgh. I arrived in Scotland at the beginning of September and will be living in Edinburgh until August 2024! I am passionate about spending time outdoors, music, and animals. I believe children learn mostly through play and the building of relationships, which are both incredibly important for their development, and bring me immense joy.
My Experience
I have 2 years of experience as a active-learning preschool teacher, one year of experience nannying a 7 year old boy, and many years of experience babysitting a wide range of ages from newborn to 12 years. I spent this past summer as the lead teacher of an art and design program in Boston, Massachusetts for children aged 1.5-9 years.
My Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Food Sustainability and Nutrition, Minor studies in Peace and Social Justice.
My Availability
I am available to work approximately 10 hours a week, with the possibility of increasing hours once I develop a routine for my academic life. I will be available occasionally on the weekends.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My fees are flexible depending on the circumstances. If there is more than one child in my care or there are extensive additional tasks (ie housework) I require at least £16 per hour, otherwise I am happy to negotiate fee fitting for all parties.
