About Me

I grew up in London, attended secondary school in Coventry and later moved to Birmingham for university. I now reside in Birmingham and have done so for the last 5 years.

I completed my BA in Working with Children, Young People and Families in the summer of 2022.
Shortly after I enrolled on a Master's Program in Advanced Family Social Work. I have just recently taken a break from this program due to the intensity and aim to return to my studies in a couple of years.

I have been in education for the last decade or so, and would now like to focus on expanding and developing the skills I have learned over the years.

I have a passion for children and young people and currently spend a good amount of my week babysitting and looking after children.
I am also a youth leader at my local church and support children and young people from the ages of 13-26.

My Experience

Babysitter within the family:
I supported family members with childcare on evenings and weekends. I looked after children from 1 to 14 years old. My main responsibilities were to supervise, safeguard, prepare meals, entertain and engage in bedtime routines.

Babysitter outside of family:
I have supported family friends and churchgoers with childcare. I have looked after children from birth to 10 years old. My main responsibilities included bath times, meal preparation, physical and mental stimulation, activities, and bedtimes.

Summer camp leader/ volunteer work with children:
I was a youth leader for a youth organisation I volunteered for from 2017-2019. I looked after children from ages 8-16 during the summer holidays. My main responsibilities included safeguarding, risk management, creativity and activities, and liaising with parents/guardians.

My Qualifications

I have a BA degree in Working with Children, Young People and Families and working towards a masters degree in Advanced Family Social Work.

My Availability

I am available Monday - Friday.
I am also available on Saturdays upon request.
