About Me
My name is Asmeet, and I am the owner of Gnome's Den Childcare. I bring over 12 years of childcare experience, having worked in some of the best private nurseries and primary school.
My husband and I are both qualified childminders registered with Ofsted. Our goal is to provide affordable childcare in a cozy environment while maintaining the learning cycle in accordance with the national curriculum.
As parents ourselves, we understand the challenges of balancing work, family time, and raising children. Our personal experiences have equipped us with a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of other parents.
I have two grown and independent sons, which allows me to fully dedicate myself to my passion for childminding and utilize the extensive experience I have gained over the years.
Our setting is conveniently located on the main road with a large drive way, offering free parking for stress-free drop-offs and pick-ups. Our setting is completely pet and smoke-free. We also have a large garden with various resources and fun activities to support the development and entertainment of children. Additionally, there is a bus stop right outside our setting, served by buses U1, U3, and U5.

My Experience
My experience includes working in top-rated private nurseries and, most recently, at a local primary school. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in caring for children, particularly infants. This experience has been further enriched by raising my own children. All my qualifications were earned while working at nurseries, which provided me with practical experience alongside theoretical learning. I have thoroughly enjoyed the learning process and continue to learn while caring for children at my setting.

We were initially sending our daughter to a private nursery. However, since my wife works in a dynamic shift pattern, it was difficult for us to fix consistent dates for the nursery, and we were spending a significant amount even when we couldn’t send her regularly.
That’s when we got in touch with Asmeet and Harjinder, and for the past month, we’ve we’ve been sending our daughter to their child care. They provide exceptional care, and our daughter is always happy to go there — she has never cried or been reluctant to attend. Asmeet frequently shares pictures in the WhatsApp group, keeping us updated and connected with our child’s day. She also encourages the kids to participate in various activities, fostering both fun and learning. Asmeet is extremely professional and provides the best possible care for the children.
Choosing to send our daughter to this childminder has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. We truly appreciate the love, care, and dedication they show every day.
