Hello! My name is Kailani and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I have both 'outstanding' and 'good' qualities and overall I have been rated "Good" by Ofsted in 2019.
My setting provides a warm and welcoming environment for children and parents/carers. I have 28 years of childcare experience (including my own). I am married and have three beautiful children (28, 14 & 12 years old).
In my setting we take regular trips to the play groups, soft play, parks, and the library. In the holidays we also go to the farm and other various outings. I provide plenty of arts and crafts, reading, dancing, numeracy, gardening, and many more, so the fun and learning never ends!
I live in a 4 bedroom house which has a large child friendly garden. There is a separate playroom for the children. I live very close to Creswick primary school.
The bus stop is only 5mins from the house and Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield train stations are closest to me.
My Experience
I have over 28 years of childcare experience. I worked for various under fives' nurseries in London.
I am also a qualified Pharmacy Technician therefore have experience in medicine and health issues such as asthma, diabetes, allergy, etc.
I have up to date knowledge and training in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). There are seven areas of learning and development which is implemented in the children's daily activities. Their development gets recorded in their learning journey.

Can't fault her; we saw many options, but she stood out with her kindness and great calming energy. Especially as first-time parents, she gave us advice every step of the way. She communicates well; he always hates to leave and can't wait to go back to see her and his friends. Her house and environment are so clean and well-kept, especially the Christmas tree at Christmas. She also keeps us updated on his progress and big milestones. Words can't explain how grateful we are for finding her; I would recommend her to anyone.

We have had the pleasure of entrusting our son to Kailani’s care for the past six months, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her dedication and warmth. From the very beginning, she has provided a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where our son feels truly comfortable and happy.
One of the things we appreciate most about Kailani is her genuine love for children. Kailani is a truly amazing childminder and couldn’t be happier with the care, consideration and her approach to my daughter.
My daughter had come on leaps and bounds. Kailani provides educational, trips, playgrounds, games, arts and crafts.

After looking around several local nurseries and not feeling won over by any of them, a friend recommended Kailani.
I reached out and Kailani invited us around to meet our boy, who was 10 months at the time.
He took to her from the minute we stepped through the door and we knew that this was the place for him.
Kailani offers a warm, welcoming, calming yet playful and educational setting where he has really thrived!
Fast forward 3 years and our little boy still very much loves going to Kailani's after nursery - her daily pickups are a great benefit and mean we can work uninterrupted by school pickups. She is extremely flexible too!
When our little girl came along, it was a no brainer that we wanted her to be with Kailani. And again, she instantly took to her and surprises us everyday with what she has learnt.
Both of our children continue to learn, develop and have fun and that's all thanks to Kailani. She often takes them to local playgroups, the library and park too.
Kailani is a great support to our family, even outside of her working hours. She offers great advice and a friendly shoulder if ever needed.
We, and our children wouldn't be without her.

Kailani has provided care for two of our children and they have both loved going there and had valuable experiences.
She is attentive, professional and kind.
She also provides lots of different educational experiences such as the play groups, art and crafts and trips out.
Kailani keeps us updated on our children’s progression with photos and messages.
She also provides healthy, home cooked food.
I personally recommended her to two friends and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.

Kailani has been the most supportive and wonderful childminder for our children. She has had our youngest child in her care since he was 9 months old until he was 5 and a half. The care Kailani has shown to our son has been so special and he has absolutely loved being part of her household on these days doing all sorts of fun activities and trips out. We received regular photographs of him having fun. If you want the reassurance that your little ones are safe, well cared for and enjoying a calm home from home environment then Kailani offers this and so much more. We honestly could not have made a better choice. Thank you so much Kailani for the wonderful care you and your family provide.

Kailani looked after my son for a few weeks while I waited for a space at a local nursery to come up. He always came home clean, fed, happy and having had a lovely day. Kailani is responsive with communications and would always send photos of him playing and learning. Kailani’s setting is a lovely, clean family home and she is a very well presented and professional, caring childminder. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

I was recommended of Kalani from a close friend and was suitable due to being close to Creswick school. My children had just moved to Welwyn Garden City so we’re new to the area. My son had just turned 1 at the time and my daughter was 7. Kalani was very supportive that I had early drop offs with my children being a nurse and also being a single mum not having the extra pair of hands at home. So often my children came round in the morning still not dressed and washed and she assists with this so I can get to work on time. As time has gone in it appears my son now has some SEN issues and Kalani does try to support this. My daughter only attends in mornings for school drop offs now however my son attends 2 days a week. He appears settled and enjoys going with Kalani to toddler groups, library and the park and enjoys the company of other child in her care. Kalani has a lovely clean home and garden for children to play in. My son enjoys her meals she make. Would highly recommend.

I am so glad I found Kailani, she is lovely , so good with the kids and my little one settled in very well with her straight away.
Her environment was the best I had viewed by far , she has a large living room and kitchen/diner and a separate play room. Her house is very clean tidy and she has a lovely garden safe for the kids to play. She makes my days so much easier and I feel at ease with her looking after my little one. My girl is always happy to go to the point she even closes the door on me. I get updates throughout the day with my little girls progress. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is having trouble finding childcare!

We were really lucky to find Kailani through this website right after moving from East London and not knowing many people in the area. After viewing a few other establishments there was no doubt in our minds her home and approach was the best fit for our baby girl.
The communication is excellent with regular updates about eating, playing and Bella's moods. Seeing our baby turning into a toddler, becoming more independent each week and learning new skills while being all smiley have put our minds at ease and it is all thanks to Kailani.
This whole arrangement had made my going back to work so smooth and it was something that really stressed me out before. We also had zero experience with the childminding situation in the UK and Kailani was patient to answer all of our questions.
If it's not for us moving closer to family for some time (as we are expecting twins and need all the help our families are willing to give with 3 kids under two!), we will not be ending the partnership with Kailani. We highly recommend her and will be always grateful for the great experience and excellent care she has provided for our daughter!
