My Summary
Bilingual Maternity Nurse/Nanny
About Me
I have more than 17 years experiences with children from newborn to 14 years old. I am
fully qualified in childcare and I worked as a mother help for a new born during 1 year, night
nanny, live-in/out nanny, Rota nanny with children between newborn to 9 years old and I
worked as a manager and playworker in before/after school club and holiday club (range
ages 3 years old to 14 years old) in France. My goals as a career nanny are helping and
developing the educational and also provide fun activities for your children while also
monitoring their safety. I like using the Montessori theory for working, is a method of
teaching developed by Maria Montessori where the key principles are independence,
observation, following the child, correcting the child, prepared environment and absorbent
mind. I can also introduce some French sign languages to your children (alphabet, some
simple words: cake, again, drink, thank you, hello, good night …).
I have a lot of different skills and I am able to set up different activities for your children
toddler to teenager (craft, design cooking, set up treasure hunt, easter hunt). I’m also event
planner so I’m able to organize a party, making balloon arch with birthday cake, making
candy cotton, real French crepes. I can provide a lot of fun activities and teach them sewing
machine, cooking. I love organizing surprise and make a special home decoration and diner
for Halloween, Christmas, Easter.
Sometimes, I like making children happy with funny meals (Octopus sausage, lion pasta,
tomato caterpillar). I had courses about healthy food so I can manage diet menu. I obtained
Level 2 food hygiene certificate 2 years ago.
I have several diploma in childcare such a level 3 as a playworker, A level in health and social
career, level 2/3 equivalent health care.
I speak French, English and some Spanish as well (I’m currently learning Spanish).
I’m full of ideas to make your children happy, secure and help then to be actor of their own
life, I’m patient and I know when I must be firm with them when they are not respectful or
doing something wrong. I analyse children behaviour and I guess when they did something
wrong or when they will try to be cheeky.
I have also worked as an assistant care in hospital with my level 2/3 equivalent health care.
So I can manage easily an emergency without being stress.
I am energetic, fun, creative and I have the ability to invent games and activities. I have a
natural talent and passion for childcare.
